Today, our school hosted an important and very special event dedicated to the Day of the Visually Impaired. Students had the opportunity to go through obstacles with a blindfold on to experience first-hand what it’s like to live in the dark all the time, relying only on their other senses.
During this quest, the children used touch, hearing and the help of friends to find their way through the challenges. This experience helped the students to better understand the difficulties faced by visually impaired people on a daily basis and taught them the importance of support, empathy and mutual assistance.
