On 6 November 2024, at 15:00, an excursion to the State Fire and Rescue Unit will be organised for the 3rd grade students of Lviv British School.
The aim of this excursion is to introduce children to the basics of rescue services, raise awareness of safety and emergency issues, and promote responsible attitudes to life safety.
The tour programme includes a visit to a rescue training centre, where children will be able to learn about the profession of rescuers, their activities and the technical equipment they use in emergencies. In addition, the students will be told about the mine action activities of rescuers, the general principles of which will be presented in an accessible and understandable way, aimed at improving safety at home and in case of emergencies.
Particular attention will be paid to safety issues, including what to do in case of an emergency, what actions should be avoided, and how to handle unfamiliar objects or dangerous conditions. The children will also be able to see the work of rescuers with their own eyes and gain a unique experience by going through various training complexes where real-life rescue scenarios are recreated.
The cost of the tour is UAH 500 per participant.
This exciting and informative trip will not only expand children’s knowledge of the important work of rescuers, but also give them a clear understanding of the importance of following safety rules.
