On 15 November 2024, Grade 1 students will visit the Wood Museum. This excursion will be a great opportunity for children to learn more about nature, forest resources and the role of wood in our daily lives.
The venue is located very close to the school – just across the road from the school, so no transfer is required. The group will meet at the museum at 14:30.
The programme of the tour includes an introduction to different types of wood, a story about their features, places of growth and how trees help the environment. The children will be shown interesting exhibits made of wood and told how it is used in various spheres of life. In addition, students will be able to touch wood samples, observing its texture, density and colour, which makes the learning process especially interesting and accessible to the youngest visitors.
The cost of the tour is UAH 100. This visit will help children to better understand the nature around them and the importance of taking care of it.
