Today, the 3rd grade students of Lviv British School were visited by firefighters! They gave a lecture where they told the children about radiation, its nature, and how to behave in situations that could be dangerous. They also mentioned the Chornobyl disaster. It was a useful meeting, because such knowledge helps students understand how to protect themselves in emergency situations.
The firefighters brought special protective clothing and gas masks, so the children could try them on and feel like real rescuers. The firefighters explained in detail how this equipment works and emphasized the importance of always following instructions in case of danger.
