Today Lviv British School camp hosted an extremely useful and informative lecture on medicine!
Our school nurse gave a fascinating talk about first aid – how to help yourself and others in case of bleeding, how to recognise the symptoms of sunstroke and what to do in an emergency.
The children learnt how to act calmly and confidently when someone around them needs help, how to apply a bandage correctly, what to do before the doctors arrive, and even practiced a little.
There were many questions, active discussion and sincere interest in the topic.
Such knowledge is a real superpower that can save lives.
