The excursion to the Galychanka embroidery workshop was an extremely interesting and informative event for the children. They saw how ancient Ukrainian traditions are combined with modern technologies in the creation of embroidered shirts – from sketch to finished product.
The students learned about different embroidery techniques, observed the work of designers and craftsmen, heard the history of the workshop’s founding, and understood that behind every embroidered shirt lies a great deal of work and love for Ukrainian culture.
In addition, the children were taught the basics of entrepreneurship and store management: production, assortment, customer service, marketing, and online sales.
This trip combined an introduction to traditions with practical business knowledge, inspiring the children to appreciate culture and dare to dream about their own ideas.
