Today, students of Lviv British School immersed themselves in the world of Ukrainian art and culture, learning about the lives and work of two outstanding Ukrainian women — Kateryna Bilokur and Solomiia Krushelnytska.
The children learnt about the challenging yet deeply inspiring life journeys of these talented women, examined their creative achievements, and discussed how, through perseverance, hard work and a passion for their craft, they gained recognition far beyond Ukraine’s borders.
Such sessions not only help to gain a deeper understanding of the history and culture of their home country, but also inspire them to believe in their own abilities, to dream and to pursue their goals with determination.
