On 18 June, a swimming competition was held at Lviv British School swimming pool for students of the school and members of the swimming club. Around 70 children took part in the sporting event, demonstrating their skills, stamina and sporting spirit.
The participants competed in their respective age groups over 25- and 50-metre freestyle distances. Parents and supporters created the atmosphere of a true sporting celebration, actively cheering on the young swimmers during every race.
A special moment was the awards ceremony. The children received awards in the ‘My First Race’ category, as well as prizes for first, second and third places. The young athletes received medals, certificates and gifts in recognition of their achievements.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the event’s partner — ‘Bobo Sticks’ — for supporting the competition and providing delicious sweet treats for the participants, which added to the festive atmosphere of the event.
