Ukrainian myths are characterized by the fact that they are extremely natural, connected with the farming or pastoral life of our ancestors. Some peoples have a clear division of spirits into evil and good, but in Ukrainian mythology this was not the case. Our ancestors believed that the good and evil carried by spirits is determined not so much by the nature of the spirits themselves, but by their role in a particular situation. Even after accepting Christianity, a Ukrainian is always ready to act according to the principle: “Love God, but don’t be angry with the devil.” In myths, man sought to explain to himself the origin of the universe, the creation of man, and animals. All peoples of the world have myths about their originsSun, Moon, Earth, sky, mountains, rivers, seas, lakes.

Students will travel through myths, prepare thematic performances, take part in contests, quizzes, and prepare the food of real gods at a culinary master class. Students of the 3rd grade will present Ukrainian mythology.
