Scandinavian mythology – the mythology of the ancient Scandinavians, part of the ancient Germanic mythology. The Scandinavian gods look like strict warriors, they are often depicted with wild animals, wolves and boars.The main, supreme god of the Scandinavians is the one-eyed god Odin. It is believed that Odin and his brothers created and populated the world. They made a man from ash, and a woman from alder. This is how the first people appeared: a man – Ask, and a woman – Embla. In addition to the main god Odin, there were twelve gods: Thor, Baldr, Tur, Heimdall, Bragi, Hed, Vidar, Vali, Ull, Njerd, Freyr, Loki.

Students will travel through myths, prepare thematic performances, take part in contests, quizzes, and prepare the food of real gods at a culinary master class.

Scandinavian mythology will be presented by 2nd grade students.
