2 February 2011 marked the first Ukulele Day, an international holiday dedicated to a miniature musical instrument with a unique sound. On this day, children were given the opportunity to learn more about the history of the Hawaiian guitar by learning a theme song that helps them to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of this unique instrument. During the culinary masterclass, the young chefs prepared Hawaiian snacks, revealing the flavours and aromas of traditional Hawaiian cuisine. The relaxed atmosphere of joint cooking emphasised the joy of this holiday. After successful culinary experiments, the children not only created symbolic Hawaiian necklaces, but also went to a Hawaiian-style party. There, they enjoyed the atmosphere of a warm summer evening celebration with dancing, entertaining contests and unforgettable impressions.
