Peanut butter is very popular in countries where English is spoken. In some of them, a nut butter sandwich has become a recognised breakfast. Today, together with the students, we studied the history of the celebration of the Peanut Butter Day and learned interesting facts about its origin. During the culinary masterclass, the students learnt the process of making nut paste and enjoyed creating their own version. The students tried the paste with bread, which they cooked, adding an unrivalled taste to it with jam. This event allowed the students not only to spend time together, but also to discover new aspects of gastronomy and share their taste impressions.
