Today, Lviv British School hosted a video lecture on energy efficiency. The students learnt how to use energy rationally, reduce resource consumption and what modern technologies help to save energy.
In addition to the theoretical part, the students were able to apply their knowledge in practice. They created miniature windmills and solar panels with their own hands, understanding the principles of their operation. This helped them to better understand how renewable energy sources can change the world and reduce human impact on nature.
Such initiatives are a great way not only to educate children, but also to shape their environmentally conscious outlook. After all, even small changes in everyday life can help preserve our planet’s resources.
