On 22 November 2024, at 14:00, 2nd grade students of Lviv British School will visit Oschadbank as part of an introductory tour aimed at expanding children’s financial literacy.
This excursion will provide younger students with the opportunity to learn more about the work of one of the largest banks in Ukraine, as well as to get acquainted with the basic principles of financial activity in an accessible and engaging way.
The programme of the excursion includes introducing children to the main functions of the bank, including how money is handled, what cashiers, bank consultants and other bank employees do. Students will be shown what modern banking services look like: opening accounts, customer service, cashless payments, and how ATMs and terminals work.
Children will be especially interested in the interactive approach, where they will be able to imagine themselves as ‘real bankers’. The students will be able to observe how the bank operates behind the scenes, visit the cash desk, and learn about the importance of financial responsibility and frugality.
During the tour, children will have the opportunity to talk to bank employees, ask questions about how the bank operates and why various financial transactions are needed. This will be the first step towards developing basic financial literacy skills and a responsible attitude to money, which is an important part of modern education.
The cost of the tour is UAH 500 per participant.
This visit will help children to better understand the world of finance and see how important it is to plan their expenses and save money.
