January 22 is a special date in the history of Ukraine. On this day, we celebrate two important holidays – the proclamation of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the Act of Unification of Ukrainian lands. 105 years ago, on January 22, Ukrainians proclaimed the independence of their state and created the Ukrainian People’s Republic, and exactly a year later, the Act of Unification of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic took place.
We are united! On this day, we will unite in a long human chain and hold the “Chain of Unity” campaign.
We will watch a film about the proclamation of the Act of Unification of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic and discuss the importance of such an event for the history of our country.
