Goal: To teach children to honor the tragic dates of our Ukrainian history. Talk about the value of the food we have and consume.

Every year on the fourth Saturday of November, Ukrainians around the world commemorate the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 and the mass man-made famines of 1921-1923.

During the morning assembly, we will watch a presentation with the students and light candles in memory of the victims of the Holodomor.
