Ivan Kupala is celebrated on June, 24 the day of the summer solstice.
The Day of Flame and Fire Day are celebrated by Albanians and Slovenes respectively, and although the names are different, many of the rituals and customs of different nations are the same.
On this day, together with the students, we learnt about the traditions and rituals of Ukrainian culture. We wove wreaths, studied floral bouquets, re-enacted rituals and learnt new vocabulary.
