Our students actively took up the task of creating their short films, and this creative process culminated in a grand event – a presentation of each class at a local cinema. This was a great opportunity for students to showcase their talents and realise their own cinematic ideas. From a historical perspective, it is worth noting that cinema, having appeared in the 19th century, instantly caused a sensation. This art provided people with a unique opportunity to be transported to a completely new world, unfolding before them beyond the screen. Today, cinema covers a wide spectrum, from high art to entertainment, becoming a powerful industry with a multi-billion dollar turnover. Today’s students, immersed in this film process, have learnt more about the roles of screenwriters, directors and film producers. The work on the films included preparing scripts, assigning roles and scenes, as well as filming and editing. Upon completion of the projects, the students gathered in a cinema to watch and evaluate their films together. This initiative not only stimulates the students’ creativity, but also broadens their knowledge of cinema, making learning fun and informative.
