The 2nd grade students attended an exciting off-site lesson at the Wild Bird Rehabilitation Centre, where they were able not only to see rare birds with their own eyes, but also to learn a lot about their rescue, treatment and return to the wild.
This was a special entrepreneurial lesson, during which the children had the opportunity to talk to the centre’s staff, learn how such an institution works, what resources are needed for its operation and how they can help animals. The students actively asked questions, showed interest in the work of the specialists and even learned how they themselves could contribute to nature conservation.
It was an informative and inspiring journey that combined a love of nature with the basics of entrepreneurial thinking.
