Traditional English lunch

Traditional English lunch (English Sunday roast) – a tradition in Great Britain to serve a main course (usually in the afternoon, at lunch) of roast meat, roast potatoes or mashed potatoes with side dishes such as Yorkshire pudding, mincemeat, various vegetables and sauces.

The students of our school, led by Mr. Andy, also tried to cook such dish.

Preschoolers carefully washed the vegetables and prepared them for the meal.

Year 3-4 peeled potatoes and carrots, cut them, and baked them in the oven.

Year 1-2 kneaded the dough for Yorkshire puddings. Molds were poured and placed in the oven.

They set the table together and had a delicious dinner.
