The shawl has always been an important symbol of Ukrainian cultural heritage.
It was inherited through the female line and protected them because it was a family heirloom.
Today we had a creative master class on painting a souvenir shawl, where children drew symbols and imprinted patterns with vegetable stamps: flowers, sun, leaves, river, birds.
Everyone created their own shawl and painted it in different colours.
