On February, 16 Ukraine celebrates a special holiday, the Day of Unity, which was established by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in 2022. The main purpose of this holiday is to demonstrate the unity of the Ukrainian people, especially in the face of military threats.
On this day, we are planning to hold a solemn assembly to address the importance of unity and support for each other in difficult times. We will also watch a short film together dedicated to the heroes who stand in defence of our history and future.
A special dress code has been introduced for the day: all participants are expected to wear embroidered shirts. This symbolises our national identity and unity, which is an important aspect of this important holiday.
