On June 21, Lviv British School will host a culinary master class on making cheesecake with honey and original decor.

Cheesecake is one of the most popular desserts in the world. It has a bright and memorable taste, delicate texture, and many variations of preparation. Cottage cheese desserts appeared in ancient Egypt and Greece. Back then, cottage cheese was grated into a paste, mixed with honey and flour, and baked. A more cheesecake-like pie began to be made in the Middle Ages, and in the 18th century, the composition was supplemented with eggs. When European immigrants came to America, they took the recipe for their favorite cheesecake dessert with them. But the real revolution came with the invention of cream cheese (Philadelphia). When a famous American restaurant added a cheesecake with a new cheese to its menu, all visitors were delighted. Then the fame of the cheesecake spread throughout the country and beyond.
