Approximately in the 2nd millennium BC. e. Indian myths arose. At different times, Hindus worshiped different gods. The most important for them were: Brahma – the god-father, the progenitor of everything and everyone, one of the three rulers of the Universe, Vishnu and Shiva – also the rulers of the Universe together with Brahma. As in the myths of other countries, in Indian mythology there were creatures who resisted the gods and harmed people. These are snake-like strongholds – asuras, demons and giants. And although by origin they were the older brothers of the gods, but later they became their fierce enemies, fighting for domination over the world. The struggle between good and evil, natural elements and their overcoming, human life are traditional themes of Indian myths.
Students will travel through myths, prepare thematic performances, take part in contests, quizzes, and prepare the food of real gods at a culinary master class.
Students of the 1st grade will present Indian mythology.
