Today, students of Lviv British School attended an exciting excursion to the City of Professions, where they had the opportunity to learn more about various professions. Each stop in the city represented a different area where students learned about how professionals work and what useful work they do. One of the main goals of the tour was to broaden the students’ understanding of the various professions whose contribution we feel in our daily lives. It was noted how the results of the work of people in different fields affect our daily functioning and comfort. An important aspect of the tour was teaching students to appreciate the diversity and importance of each profession. The pedagogical goal was not only to expand knowledge about people’s work, but also to foster a respectful attitude towards work, emphasising the importance of each contribution to the larger image of society
