Every year, on 21 February, the whole world celebrates International Mother Language Day, which was established by UNESCO to preserve the diversity of languages and increase respect for them. This holiday was celebrated for the first time in 2000 and has become a tradition in many countries around the world.
On this day, the children learnt and presented poems by famous Ukrainian and British writers. This is a great opportunity for them to deepen their knowledge of the cultural heritage of their country and other cultures.
The aim of this event is to promote multilingualism among the younger generation and to support mutual understanding and cultural exchange between peoples.
