Vitamin Day

To promote the health benefits of vitamin C, a special day in the calendar was introduced on 4 April.
This vitamin is a powerful antioxidant. Ascorbic acid, known as vitamin C, helps neutralise free radicals that can cause cellular damage.

It also supports the immune system, promotes collagen formation, and facilitates rapid wound healing.
Vitamin C was discovered in 1912, isolated in 1928, and in 1933 became the first vitamin to be produced chemically. It is included in the World Health Organisation’s list of essential medicines.

During the cooking class, the students created their own smoothies, wrote down their recipes and tried to recreate them at home. This was not only a healthy activity, but also a fun and tasty one for them.
